Microsoft has launched “Deals Unlocked” which is a series of Xbox One Deals available from June 7-17 to celebrate E3 Week.
Once again, it’s time for the world’s tech media to focus their eyes on the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The video game industry’s top talent will be heading to the Los Angeles Convention Center to showcase groundbreaking new technologies and never-before-seen products over three days. With the absence of Sony, Microsoft is going all out to impress.
We can expect Microsoft to unveil an impressive suite of new games alongside new hardware. Rumors suggest that two new consoles will make an appearance. A high-end Xbox One X replacement and a more affordable entry-level machine should ensure that there is something to fit every budget. Gamers will also be looking forward to announcements around Microsoft’s Project xCloud and what gaming experience it will offer compared to Google Stadia after it’s presentation last week.
Tech fans that are struggling to wait until Black Friday to treat themselves can gran themselves a bargain. Microsoft is celebrating the occasion with a massive sale on Xbox One consoles, games, and accessories from June 7 through to June 17. Here are some of the best deals to look out for and how to buy them from the Microsoft store.
All of the Xbox One S consoles, including the bundle packages have a $50 discount. However, the Xbox One X consoles are a mouthwatering $100 cheaper than usual. For example the Xbox One S 1TB Console – Fortnite Battle Royale Special Edition Bundle is now $249.
For those that want to distance themselves from physical media and having to put discs into your console, the Xbox One S All-Digital Edition is available for $199 Sure Microsoft will announce new hardware at E3, but make no mistake there’s still plenty of life in the Xbox One yet. If you are in the market for an affordable console with a rich library of games, you should be happy with whichever model you choose.
There are also over 100 Xbox One games that are discounted in Microsoft’s digital store. If you are happy with your console during E3 week, you might be tempted to pick up a few bargain games. With up to 75% off Xbox One digital games over ten days, I suspect many will be reaching for their credit card to pick up a few recent releases that have been discounted such as Anthem $30, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice $48, Kingdom Hearts III ($30), Mortal Kombat 11 ($50), and The Division 2 ($39).If you have been waiting to pick up the modern classic Red Dead Redemption 2 maybe $35 is a good entry point. Traditional sequels Battlefield V ($28) and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 ($32) are also on offer along with bargain basement classics Star Wars Battlefront II ($7.50) and Titanfall 2 ($4.50).
What announcements are you looking forward to at this years E3? And also let me know if you are you planning on taking advantage of Microsoft’s Deals Unlocked offer during E3 Week or if you have any recommendations.
