308: Servcorp – Flexible Workspace, Virtual Offices and and IT Services
Servcorp is the leading provider in luxury shared workspace. Even a small startup can now have a private office at the World Trade Center in Manhattan for $1,000 a month, and a virtual office package for as little as $200. The company proudly focusses on providing businesses with solutions that help them save time, money, enables flexibility and delivers the stability they need to be successful.
Servcorp was founded in Sydney in 1978 and now operates in nearly 150 locations in 24 countries. In 2010, Servcorp expanded into the United States and is providing affordable access to the best facilities and technology in some of the best locations in the best cities around the world.
We believe that not everyone wants to come to work in shorts, ride their scooter to work, play ping pong and have beers at lunch. There will certainly be demand for a premium product in flexible space with a high level of service and infrastructure.
With the worry of finances in mind, businesses will often side with the cheaper office provider to save on rental. But these businesses don’t realize just how much impact a prestigious business address, an exceptional receptionist, a professional meeting place and a robust IT and communication infrastructure has on their business’ longevity and prosperity.
For example addresses such as One World Trade Center in New York City, Etihad Towers in Abu Dhabi or Louis Vuitton’s headquarters in Paris would add a touch of class to any business card. Servcorp provides a smart, scalable and cost-effective solution, which will deliver a profitable return on their investment. This also allows them ease of entry and representation in any market around the world.
Ultimately they provide a smart, affordable and scalable solution for businesses of all sizes who want to keep their overheads low so they can focus on running their business. Prestigious buildings in the best locations, premium fit-outs and innovative, world-class technology, backed by impeccable customer service and administrative support is the just the cherry on the cake.
I invited Marcus Moufarrige, Chief Operating Officer at Servcorp onto the show to find out why businesses of all sizes are switching from Physical to virtual offices.
As Servcorp’s Chief Operating Officer, Marcus is responsible for Servcorp’s business across 21 countries, overseeing product strategy, customer service and all things operational. Marcus says his aim is first and foremost to provide “great experiences when and wherever customers or their clients interact with Servcorp.”
Marcus counts surviving a year in Myanmar (Burma) setting up Servcorp operations, discovering the online world, building and rolling out a totally unique IT infrastructure and re-branding Servcorp as his career milestones.
