The Dublin startup is already working with some of the biggest names in travel, including Air New Zealand, Emirates, and Aer Lingus. Dave O’Flanagan, CEO and co-founder of Boxever, founded the company after realizing how much airlines struggled to effectively utilize the data they had about their customers.
In Dave’s eyes, many airlines have lost their connection with their customers and they need to invest in customer intelligence if they want to improve conversion rates, strengthen customer retention, lower acquisition costs, improve customer experience and increase revenue. While he is an accomplished leader and manager, he is first and foremost a passionate technologist, focused primarily in the areas of big data, analytics, and new architectures to support petabyte-scale data processing.
